Mobile Car Valeting near Bridgwater - Porsche Boxster

We were called by a customer near Bridgwater to carry out some valeting work on his 2003 Porsche Boxster.

This was the the car when we arrived:

The car itself was in good condition, but the customer wanted it looking even better.  So it was decided that we would carry out a Full Valet, but instead of polishing by hand, we would polish by machine.  Machine polishing would remove or reduce the scratches and swirls that were robbing the car of gloss, and allow the colour to come through better.  We also deep cleaned and reproofed the convertible hood.

Once the machine polishing was complete, we then protected the finish with a quality wax.

The valeting work carried out acheived exactly what we set out to do, as this picture demonstrates:

You can see from this picture how the greyish hue has now gone, the gloss levels increased, and the richness of the colour coming through.

We were called by a previous customer to Nicholashayne, near Wellington.  This time it was time carry out a Full Valet on a 2008 Land Rover Freelander2, which looked as follows on our arrival:

Due to the huge amount of hedgerow scratches etc, we had to machine polish the vehicle to get the result we wanted.

We carried out the following:

• Floor mats, carpets, fabric seats and boot area vacuumed and shampooed

• Dash surfaces cleaned 

• Insides of windows cleaned

• Entire vehicle exterior pre-washed, washed, rinsed, tar spots removed, rinsed again with filtered water and dried.

• Wheels cleaned  

• Polished by machine to reduce scratches and swirls.

• Paintwork waxed to add protection

• Tyres dressed 

• Trim dressed .

• Arch liners dressed

• Exterior windows treated with glass polish

After all this work, the vehicle then looked as follows:

New Car Protection in Somerset - 2013 Jaguar F-Type V8S

This week I have had the privilege of carrying out a New Car Protection on a week old Jaguar F-Type V8S. Although they already have a list price of almost £80,000, the owner had ticked most of the option boxes, bringing it closer to £100,000.

 
This is the first Jaguar F-Type to be protected with Ceramishield Professional ceramic sealant. We were called by a gentleman from the West Midlands who keeps his touring caravan on a small site near Bridgwater.  He wanted the outside comprehensively cleaned, as well as given a polish to enhance the appearance, and provide some protection for the future.

When valeting caravans, we are just as thorough as any other vehicle.  After we had finished valeting the caravan, the customers said they had never seen it looking so good, even when they bought it from a local dealer five years ago.

Shine My Ride were asked to carry out some mobile car valeting in Cheddar, Somerset on a 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera S.

The vehicle has spent a little too much time at the hand car washes, so was looking a little sorry for itself.

So the first job was to get the vehicle clean and ready for polishing.  The wheels were cleaned with a non-acid wheel cleaner, and the vehicle washed using a soft washmitt.  Tar contamination was removed, and the vehicle thoroughly rinsed and then dried with microfibre drying towels.  

Then the vehicle was machine polished to reduce the swirling and scratching that was robbing the car of it's gloss.  Then it was machine polished to refine the finish to enhance the gloss further.  At this stage, it was given a coat of sealant to protect the newly revived finish.

The glass was cleaned, and the exterior trim and tyres dressed.  The interior was also fully valeted, the leather cleaned etc.

This owner did.  It is a 53-plate Toyota Corolla, which was generally in good condition, although somewhat neglected.  It had less than 41,000 miles on the clock.

 But the owner realised that in order for the vehicle to create the right impression with a potential buyer, so called for Shine My Ride.

The interior was fully valeted too, firstly vacuumed out, then carpets and seats were shampooed, and all the plastics cleaned.

The exterior was thoroughly cleaned, including the wheels.  Tar spots on the paintwork were removed.  The vehicle was rinsed down again, and then dried ready for polishing.  The paintwork was polished, and then protected to seal in the revived gloss.  Trim and tyres were dressed, and glass cleaned.
